The hosts at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing lots of advice on local attractions and events. The breakfasts were delicious and satisfying, and the evening meals were outstanding. The hotel was well-located for exploring the surrounding area and was beautifully renovated.
One downside was that our room was on the top floor and there was no lift, which was a challenge for my partner who has arthritis. Additionally, there were no televisions in the rooms and breakfast was served outside in a garden that had many dead plants, which was not very pleasant.

I absolutely loved the charming and authentic French decor of this hotel. The beautifully restored mansion had such a warm and inviting atmosphere, making me feel like I was stepping back in time. The general areas, like the garden and shared lounge, were meticulously maintained and added to the overall ambiance. As a senior person, I appreciated the thoughtful accessibility of the hotel, from the spacious rooms to the well-maintained circular staircase. It made my stay comfortable and hassle-free.
The only thing I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be a bit more attentive. While they were friendly, there were times when I needed a bit more assistance and they seemed preoccupied.

Homemade breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful garden. B&B had clean, spacious rooms in a character-filled, 115-year-old mansion. Incredible value for money.
